Preach the Word. Everywhere.

Witnessing on a public right-of-way is just as biblical NOW as it was in the times of Jesus. However, public being ‘public’ means that we have to share a public venue with religions who may not hold to the very foundation of Christianity. Think of it, all ‘religions’ are in prison ministry, homeless ministry, prolife ministry, etc. Then, what do we do as Christians – evangelize the lost or tell the other religions that come to the same venue they’re doing it wrong?

Hold fast, hold true, and hold on! Strike a balance or you are just as guilty as a man-made ‘doctrine’ that soothes the seeker, not save the lost. Always remember your task at hand, don’t sway to conformity, preach the Word.
“v1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, v2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, v3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.” 1Timothy 4:1-3
If it is your ‘ministry’ to go to venues and tell everyone they are doing it wrong – not witnessing to YOUR specifications – then you do not do the Will of God. If your are in public ministry as we are, remember the public does not need to see your displeasure with a fellow servant. That will create chaos that cannot be ignored. Remember your venue, remember Who sent you, remember the servant who led YOU to the Lord.
“But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2Timothy 4:5

PERSECUTED CHURCH: Our lives as Christians under the microscope.

We are on watch, we are targeted – by our own government. The Supreme Court is weighing in on so-called ‘gay marriage’ which can force churches, ministries, and Christian organizations protected by their 501(c)(3) status.

Should we be concerned? YES. Because Christians are persecuted outloud with hideous beheadings, and sometimes so quiet that it’s almost undetectable, or so the government hopes. In China, the hope of Jesus Christ is so abhorred and feared by their government, they are calling it “a restriction on the public space for Christianity” toppling them one at a time: “Compared to the Communist Party’s previous militant-style campaigns aiming at wiping out the religion, the latest crackdown is milder and its primary target is a symbol rather than the belief itself“, read the rest here.

A restriction on the public space for Christianity? Sounds familiar? It should, Bible studies, prayer meetings and church services in private homes in America have been targeted:

“A California couple has been fined by the city of San Juan Capistrano for holding Bible studies and religious gatherings in their home.” Read the rest here.
AND
“A Phoenix man has been sentenced to 60 days in jail after he refused to stop hosting Bible studies in the privacy of his home – in violation of the city’s building code laws.” Read the rest here.

Is this what’s coming to American churches as the LGBT community continues to target and persecute Christianity? Look to Annise Parker, Mayor of Houston. She took her LGBT agenda and manifested it as law to placate her own sin to make it appear normal; ‘City of Houston’ demanded “sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker. Pastors and churches and ministries said a resounding NO, claiming rightfully that their Constitutional rights cannot be taken away by anyone.

“This new draft law is just another attempt by the government to legitimize its existing illegal violent campaign of destruction and removal of the cross,” said Bob Fu of U.S.-based China Aid, which has documented that 448 churches have had crosses removed or buildings destroyed…..To continue to forcefully remove and ban the cross on the rooftop of the church buildings demonstrates the Chinese regime’s determination to contain the rapid growth of Christianity in China,” he said in an email.” Read the rest here.

Many smaller churches here in America are decidedly not tax exempt so that  they can continue to use their rights to Freedom of Speech, religion, and religious liberty. These rights are Constitutional and is supposed to protect individual American citizens, but are they protected under a 501(c)(3)? Many people would disagree with what protects us by something manufactured by the IRS and Federal Government.

In China, an article depicted Christian church crosses being torn down and in some cases, the entire church:

“The battle started when a government-hired crew tore down the metal cross atop the one-room church in this village surrounded by rice paddies last month…The next day, a church member used his own welding torch to put it back. He was promptly detained and questioned for 10 hours on the charge of operating a welding business without a license.” Read the rest here.

Tear down the Cross? Not one person can tear down what God has provided: “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God,” [1Cor 1:18].

Doing nothing gains nothing. Jesus is knocking on the door trying to get back into the Church, we should let Him in and keep the government OUT.

#2015 is the Year of…Awakenings?

The Bible is ALIVE, the beating heart of God. It is showing through literal signs and wonders that we are in the end of end times. The world will never get better but it may seem quiet at times. And like a quiet toddler in another room, be VERY afraid. This is what the Lord told me:

MYLIFEASACHRISTIAN

Three tubs of aborted baby remains going to the incinerator.

Abortion will continue to drop and a resurgence will erupt in certain states to literally draw ‘customers’, I feel they may be NY, CA, WA & IL. Roe makes sure that every state will offer abortion services even it it’s just one facility left in that state. The murderous Left chants ‘undue burden’ which is an outright lie. But we know that! But does the general population? Not yet. That is the job of prolife advocates and conservative elected officials.

The Church will continue to get bigger and bigger, although not necessarily in the right direction. Jesus is not the focus of the Church at large, this was hard to see in person, but see it I did – out loud on the public steps of the local Statehouse. There is a surging ‘morality’ that mimics a so-called ‘churchy’ quality to make the agnostics and atheists feel good about child murder [abortion], assisted suicide [euthanasia, eugenics, genocide] legalizing pot [gateway drug use & abuse], praying to ‘mother’ [mother earth and/or mother god], etc. Cults will be on the rise, as well.  The Cross will still be shunned by the ‘elite’ but more people are listening than we give them credit for. Keep preaching!

MYLIFEASACHRISTIAN

On Christmas Day, two people sorting thru a dumpster.

Addictions & Afflictions of all kinds will continue to spike because of the economy, medical system & imposed socialism. More and more people are cohabitating and living communal just to survive & live; daily living gets harder and nearly unachievable. Too many people are on the government dole because of Obamanomics which created and/or exacerbated more drug use and poor eating habits, all of which creates more dependency.  Kids begin getting medicated by the public school system for the malady du jour [ADHD, etc] which leads them to accept pill taking, medications of all kinds as normal. Since drugs were normal as a child, this continues into adulthood.

MYLIFEASACHRISTIAN

PJ can’t read or write; thru circumstances out of his control, he is homeless…at Christmas.

Electronics will become the parent, homeschooling will be attacked again. Too much technology has taken the form of a parent, babysitter, even a physical school. And while homeschooling is climbing, and it should, it will continue to  be attacked and the government will quietly try to make it illegal. Be vigilant, stay awake, read everything you can get your hands on. Mainstream media of any kind can’t truly be trusted, I suggest finding online radio/media outlets to balance out what you hear on television/radio. Balance is key.

Christians will be called on to step out in faith to take in the weak and rejected; a safe ship in the storm. Trust God. Simply that, trust God. Most of us are just one major indecent [cancer, accident, spouse’s death] from monetary ruin. Just one thing can send us out into the street, homeless. Jesus never had a place to lay His head, how then do we expect there to be a place for us? While we cannot control everything in our financial lives, we can live as Christ did to do for the ‘least of these‘…because there is a great chance you will find yourself needing the love AND benevolence of another Christian:

“And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Matthew 8:20

A homeless man asleep on the steps of a Church - their doors were closed.

A homeless man asleep on the steps of a Church – their doors were closed.

Random acts of crime will climb more than ever; ‘protesting’ will climb as well. Ferguson has taught us to keep an eye out for protesters even in our daily grind. People going to work will be kept from going, people going to the hospital may die in an ambulance just trying to get through a protest, kids may not get to school, government will be shut down from time to time, and it will get more and more violent.

Then what?

DO NOT FEAR BUT BE EVER VIGILANT! This world will never get better but we will have those calm moments, like with gas being under $2 [crummy example :D] but these momentary glimpses of calmness will be exactly that: MOMENTARY. These ‘lulls’ will keep people from rejecting the government norm of medicating the masses to keep them apathetic and lethargic. Take advantage of cheap gas, tax holidays, etc; but do not accept the message behind it. Bad times are here, the worst of times is coming.

And read THE BOOK! Your Bible will tell you all that will happen. Christians skirt around the Prophets of the Old Testament but I assure you, it is imperative that Christians read and learn about them to see what we have coming; remember BALANCE – the New Testament confirms what the OT foresaw. Click here to read the back of the Book….WE WIN!

God sent a Savior to help us and guide us…to protect us and save us! In the natural, it is UGLY…but in the supernatural, everything’s gonna be okay:

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

The Prayer of the Sojourning Christian.

I cried, but no one heard.
I was hurt, but no one helped.
I fought alone to no avail,
I waited, but no one came.

I saw, but couldn’t remember.
I heard, but couldn’t discern.
I held out my hand, but it came back empty.
My heart hurt, and no one comforted me.

How can I love when I receive none,
Where is the delight in life?
Is it in the mirror looking back at me
Or is it in the eyes of another?

Lord! Come closer, be near me
Because my fight is harder than ever.
You are my only Joy, my Salvation
From a life of tears and remorse.

I have lost so much and gained little.
This world has spewed me out
But it won’t let me go.
Let me go, world…I am not yours.

But I look up and see my Abundance
In a face I have not yet met.
His beauty is infinite, His love is unmatched.
Just a little while longer, He says, You are not done.

I hold my hands up to Him in Praise
and seek His warmth with sweet tears.
I am yours, I say, I am yours!
Touch me today, Lord…Touch me today!

I am a stranger, a sojourner in this world.
My woes are His, but the consequences are mine.
I look to Him, I Praise His name!
Until I cross that River, I will rest in Him!

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” [Matthew 11:28]

Mary Believed.

Unimaginable. To think that a young girl, barely marriageable, was chosen to be the vessel God would use for the birth our Savior, Jesus Christ. And even more unimaginable is her Faith in whom she heard this Good News!

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45

The New Testament reflects what the Prophet Isaiah said regarding the birth of The Redeemer:

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet [Is 7:14], saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:22-23

Why was Mary so special to God for Him to choose her? It has to be assumed that Mary’s heart to some degree, while yet a sinner by nature through the fall of Adam, had a level of receptive purity toward God. This would fulfill the sovereign Plan of God.

MYLIFEASACHRISTIAN

While Mary’s lineage went back to King David, the Bible doesn’t say who her parents were. However, the Scriptures do tell us her husband’s lineage [Luke 3:23, Matthew 1:16], both Mary and Joseph being descendants of David [Romans 1:3]. They seemed ‘common’, but they were chosen.

Though Mary was chosen by God, she still needed to answer the Call. Mary believed, through Faith alone, that her sacrifice would change the world.

Unimaginable…but Mary believed.

Authority & the Cult Christian

Do Christians believe in cults? Do they participate in cults? But do they believe they are involved in cults?

A cult isn’t always obvious…in fact, they are usually sneaky, which makes sense considering the source. ‘Strange Fire’ was addressed early in the Scriptures [Lev 10:1-3] to let the reader/believer know that bringing anything before the Lord that isn’t holy [false doctrine] will not be recognized by Him. The work of one’s hands is not of Faith, it is worthy of damnation.

The flesh is an ugly thing; God addressed this in Leviticus essentially saying that nothing unholy can be in His presence:

“Aaron therefore went to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, whichwas for himself. Then the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him. And he dipped his finger in the blood, put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar. But the fat, the kidneys, and the fatty lobe from the liver of the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses. The flesh and the hide he burned with fire outside the camp.” [Lev 9:8-11]

The Prescribed Order of Victory, Christ’s finished Work, does NOT include or allow:

  • Perverting the Truth [2Pet 3:17-18, Acts 13:10]
  • Faith turned into law [Gal 1:6-7]
  • Arrogance, personal agenda, pride or self righteouness [1Tim 6:3-4, Neh 9:16]
  • Ignorance [2Tim 2:22-23]

Matthew 26:41 says, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Too many Christians are tempted to add to or subtract from Christ’s Finished Work. It is tempting to abuse our authority in Him to exalt ourselves, but we are called to ‘watch and pray’ rather than divide and conquer.

There are Christians that believe in the Prosperity ‘Gospel’, Calvinism, Mormonism, keeping the Sabbath, etc. But what they are really saying is that what Christ did at the Cross was NOT ENOUGH. They have to add to it to suit themselves, they bring outside authority to it rather than the Godly authority we have in HIM.

Why do Christians add to or take away from the Finished Work of Christ? Even Christians who sit under correct teaching sometimes stir in their own personal authority – or superiority – to what they are being taught, unbeknownst to the teacher/preacher who purports Truth. The teacher/preacher cannot control what the Christians thinks they hear from the pulpit.

Do we have authority or a false sense of authority regarding the word of God? Then, do we abuse the knowledge of the Finished work of Christ by adding our own salt? This why many Christians don’t have or walk in victory.

Christians have authority in the name of Jesus and believing in His Finished Work at the Cross. We do not have authority in changing His Word to suit our agenda. We cannot put our Faith in anything but the Finished Work of Christ or we add salt to an already Perfect Truth.

It is an abuse of power and authority that can make a cult out of truth! Adding your own salt is an improper authority called PRIDE & SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS. We humans are so imperfect that we continue to follow paths that Cain followed. Improper authority killed Abel, improper authority cast out and marked Cain [Gen 4:8-15].

“But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” [James 2:20]. AND works without Faith is empty and has no power, only a presumed authority that is not of God.

WE HAVE TO DIE TO SELF [Romans 6], ‘allowing’ Jesus to do what He was called to do by the Father, dying for a people who abhorred Him, spat on Him, abandoned Him. How can anyone add one extra grain of salt to that? How is that NOT enough?

IT IS FINISHED. Once and for all, forever and ever.

30 DAY PARENTING PRAYER CHALLENGE: Day 20

First, Happy Resurrection Day! And if you woke up this morning, PRAISE GOD! If every day we took joy in just being able to open our eyes another day, imagine how much happier we would be!

Three of our adult kids are living with friends or a parent, they don’t have a home of their own. And they have children, too. Every day they do their best to do more, to have their own piece of earth, to make their own home with their kids. Everyone wants the ‘American Dream’ but I wish they wanted what Jesus Christ provided – an Eternal home rather than a dream. We celebrate the sacrifice Christ made for us. We don’t need a picket fence for that.

I know how my boys feel; they want to be real men that have their own homes. Jesus said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head“, [Matthew 8:20]. JESUS HAD NOWHERE TO LAY HIS HEAD. Even His tomb was borrowed:

“v57 Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. v58 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. v59 When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, v60 and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.” Matthew 27:57-60

There is so much hopelessness in the world; everyone picking away at life. Christ died a horrible death for all of us, you would think that when they wake up every morning they would rejoice knowing the debt was paid! But they despair. All. The. Time.

Jesus said, It is finished!” And it is. Our debt is paid. All we have to do is believe.

Pray that our adult kids will appreciate what has been provided and that they will see the light of Salvation rather than darkness. And take time to thank God for the gift of Jesus!

30 DAY PARENTING PRAYER CHALLENGE: Day 18

One of our adult kids has gotten particularly hard at life, hard at the things of God. Good Friday…on that day Christ died for our sins; He is our propitiation, our gift. We did not deserve Him but God loved us so much that he gave His only Son. As parents we demonstrate our love for our kids with our sacrifices to give them what they need or want. Certainly I am not God, neither are you. But to our kids, we seem so.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.” Romans 5:7

The loyalty we show for our children isn’t reciprocated or even appreciated. My middle son’s birthday was just the other day, he wouldn’t answer his phone. I gave birth to that beautiful redheaded ball of energy and he wouldn’t pick up the phone or call us back. I would give my life for him and he won’t answer his phone? To that I say, I gave birth to you and CHRIST DIED FOR YOU…what else could you possibly want? Your life began with me and it can end in Eternity with Christ; I’d say your needs are taken care of, if you accept Christ.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Can you even imagine it? JESUS DIED FOR US! How can anyone not be awestruck by that? No one would, at the very least, stand up for me; but not only did Christ stand up for me, He died for me…ME. Dealing with unsaved or backslidden kids is heartbreaking for me, I cannot imagine how that grieves Him after enduring a horrific, humiliating death on a Cross for these kids to ignore.

As our kids get older we want to be what they want but as they grow into adults, we have to become what they need. Some of these kids are not satisfied with ‘need’, they want more and more, and on their terms. Then, rather than kicking against the goads, perhaps they should take the narrow gate?

v4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

v5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

v6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Acts 9:4-6

In the spirit of thanksgiving, Paul asked what he could do for Him. Even after all of the persecution that Paul [then Saul] had committed to Christians, in that moment he knew he had grieved the Lord for what he did and asked “Lord, what do you want me to do”? Paul spent a lifetime doing what He called him to do. Paul was given a gift he cannot repay, a debt that we all owe.

I pray for my children to be comforted in their time of need and despair with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, not the empty promises of the world.

Wednesday Night Bible Study: QUESTIONABLE THINGS, part 2

We are continuing a three part series regarding ‘Questionable Things‘. To summarize part one, the ‘questionable thing’ is defined:

What is the ‘questionable thing’? I’ve always said if you have to ask, you ought NOT to do ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is. Somehow, it’s not that easy for some of my Christian brothers and sisters. Much like parents telling you to be a good example to your little brothers and sisters, we have to be a better example…a better Christian to those that are weak or struggling: “But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.” 1Corinthians 8:9

What ARE the questionable things? Every decision we make has consequences, good or bad. We either allow OR participate in these ‘questionable things’. Maybe you didn’t drink any alcohol, but did you have the party?

“v14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. v15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’ v16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” [Romans 8:14-16]

What does God say?

4. Is the ‘questionable thing’ by the leading of the Holy Spirit? I can’t imagine a Holy God that would condone any sin of any kind at any time. BUT we justify our actions by labeling God by our own system of checks and balances. GOD does NOT need our help, I assure you! And conversely, the Holy Spirit guides us to righteousness, not to sin. Ever.

  • Does allowing or participating in the ‘questionable thing’ bear witness to you? If you think it does, then you do not know God OR you are ignoring Him.
  • Are we ‘floating’ God? Remember the days of floating a check? The intent is there to pay that bill but the funds weren’t available. The same is with God; the heart-intent is there to not sin but the flesh-intent isn’t available.
  • Do we ‘hear’ God? We hear AND see Him through supernatural manifestations, healings, the Word of God [study] and other Christians [counsel]: “Then He said, ‘Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.’ And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.” [1Kings 19:11-12]

5. Does the ‘questionable thing’ PLEASE God? Is the ‘questionable thing’ a besetting sin? Simply, is this sin that you question the reason why you can’t fully come to Christ? Are you an adulterer…then STOP. Are you a smoker…then STOP. Are you an addict…then STOP; you get the idea. But this ‘questionable thing’…is it that one last thing that holds you onto the world?

  • How can God fully use you if you will not give up the ‘questionable thing’: “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” [Hebrews 12:1]
  • Are you keeping His commandments, “v37 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. v38 This is the first and great commandment. v39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ v40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” [Matthew 22:37-40]

BELOVED, keep His commandments and you’ll see miracles: “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” [1Jn 3:22]

6. Can you do the ‘questionable thing’ in the name of Jesus? Oh, indeed…we are a woeful people that continue to use and abuse His precious name in vain! Ponder His name(s) listed in the Book of Revelation:

  1. Son of God (2:18)
  2. Son of Man (1:13)
  3. King of kings (19:16)
  4. Lord of lords (19:16)
  5. Alpha and Omega (22:13)
  6. Beginning and the End (22:13)
  7. First and the Last (1:17)
  8. Shepherd (7:17)
  9. Lamb (5:6)
  10. Lion of Judah (5:5)
  11. Heir to Davids throne (5:5)
  12. Faithful and True (19:11)
  13. Faithful and true Witness (3:14)
  14. Christ (12:10)
  15. The Living One (1:18)
  16. The Word of God (19:13)
  17. The bright morning star (22:16)

7. Can you give God thanks for the ‘questionable thing’? MANY DO, sadly. But is it biblical or right? Of course not. If we did then we would be saying that God is NOT God:

“v24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, ‘This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons’. v25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. v26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?'”

8. Does the ‘questionable thing’ bring God Glory? Our sins were never to bring any glory to God; He is grieved by our unfaithfulness and disobedience. “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” [Isaiah 43:7]

We can only gain victory over sins and ‘questionable things’ through Jesus Christ: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” [1Corinthians 15:57]

BELOVED, we are given, yes GIVEN, a new day everyday to say yes to Christ and NO to sin! The ‘questionable thing’ is there to keep you tied to the world and not to Him, but tomorrow is another day:

“v22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. v23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. v24 ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!'” [Lam 3:22-24]

…and the reformed said, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

[reposted from 10/31/13] Today is ‘Reformation Day’, NOT HALLOWEEN; the day when Martin Luther saw through scripture that the ‘just shall live by Faith’, NOT an evolution of faith via religion, otherwise God lied to Abraham: “And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness”, Genesis 15:6.

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

[Which interpreted correctly from the original text should read ‘The just shall live by HIS faith’]

There is always a counterfeit for everything holy.

The 95 Theses, his revelation of the truth of the doctrine of God, were written by Martin Luther in October 31, 1517. Ignoring the fact that Luther unlocked what was purposely omitted shows where the true heretic lies:

JESUS SAID: “Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.” Luke 12:51

AND: “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” Matthew 10:34

testimony‘They just shall live by faith’ is the basis for Evangelical Christianity [the Doctrine of the Bible] because it points to what Christ did at the Cross instead of trusting in organized religion and its man-appointed leaders. I know this does not bode well with organized religion but the Word of God supersedes anything that man says or does.

Martin Luther was given revelation by God to undo what ‘man’ had done for centuries to His Word, His opinion, His ultimate goal. The Reformation was now the line in the sand to mark those that cause the actual division – those that teach religion to salvation.

This is why there is such a thing as ‘Nondenominational Christian’. While organized religion thinks we run with scissors, I assure you that if one reads and understands the Canon of Scripture in the intent it was written [from the original texts of Hebrew & Greek] and understands that it is THE inspired Word of God without the opinion of man, you would see that Nondenoms are actually ON the Roman Road by way of His leading. The Bible taught order, not liturgy.

While Martin Luther was not a perfect man nor lived a perfect life, he did do this one thing: caused division from the ‘Church’ and showed that Christians needed to put their Faith in Jesus Christ alone and not organized religion or man. We needed a Saviour, not a figurehead, general superintendent, presiding bishop, general overseer, general conference, self-appointed prophet & apostles or even the Pope: ‘The just shall live by Faith’. [Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:7, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38]

We forget that organized religion killed Jesus on that day, and most certainly do not read the entire Bible to see what Christ himself said and did. If organized religion says they will decipher scripture for you, run FAST. Asking an opinion is one thing, but someone dictating from opinion of an organization rather than straight from the Word of God is frightening. However, I do like sharing ideas about Scripture; it makes for great conversation BUT getting away from the Finished Work of Christ can change your Eternal destination. Always back up what you say with Scripture because if you don’t, then the point is moot.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” [John 5:24]
