Servatude
What have you done for Him lately? What is your Servatude? Servatude is an attitude and aptitude toward Service to the Lord.
Romans 12:1 clearly says, ‘I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.’
What is your ‘reasonable service’? It is the LEAST you can do as a Christian. Service is a gospel PRINCIPLE taught by Jesus. So, how should those who have been justified by grace respond in their everyday lives? This is part of our transition – as believers – into the image of Christ. You may be the only Jesus that others may ever see. That being said, as part of our sanctification process and that we may be known by our works – as Christians – to God, we have duties toward the community, our enemies and our weaker brother.
God does not ask anything of us that is unreasonable.
